I apologize for missing last weeks newsletter, but i was off getting my food service safety certification at Lord Fairfax college all day.

My oven has arrived. It is not yet hooked up, but sometimes anything is better than nothing.

Joe Cunningham creates striking pieces using photography, prints, wood block, paper, and glass in salvaged doors and windows.

Weekend Wines

Pinot Grigio, Hillinger, Austria. The colour is straw-yellow with radiating reflexes. The smell reminded on yellow apples and fresh nuts with light honey in the background, in the month reflects itself. Conte Rosso, Il Conte Villa Prandone,50% Montepulciano, 50% San Giovese, Italy. Attractive intense ruby colour . intense blackberry raspberry aromalong velvety body. $12.99

Chianti Colli Senesi, Tenuta Vitanza, Italy. Ruby red in colour, clear and very frutty with intense fresh cherry. Dry, tannic with a smooth body. $14.99

Sunday Beer

Original Sin Hard Cider, New York. Light and crisp with a smooth finish, Original Sin contains no artificial flavors or colors, allowing the natural flavor of the apple to speak for itself. O.S. is gluten-free. $2.29

In Heat Wheat, Flying Dog, Colorado. In-Heat Wheat is our German-style Hefeweizen. A full flavor beer, perfect for the more adventurous craft beer drinker. Weyerbacher Double Simcoe IPA, Pennsylvania. A full-flavored ale with hints of pineapple and citrus upfront, a good malt backbone in the middle, and a clean finish that doesn't linger too long. $4.19
